“We were planning on staying around Jackson but the prices were crazy and it looked like a lot of people so I looked for a quieter place outside of Jackson and found this wonderful place. It was affordable, quiet, and comfortable. The cabins are old but updated for today's needs. Beds are super comfortable. Everything met or exceeded our expectations. It was well worth the hour extra drive.

“The Log Cabin Motel, right in the heart of Pinedale, is truly a historic treasure. Built in 1929, the cabins are modern enough for a lovely stay but rustic enough that you feel like a real part of Pinedale. You can walk the whole town, only 1 or 2 blocks to groceries, visitor center, bank, The Cowboy Store, fly fishing shops, gift/gallery shops, the Wind River Distillery, bars, and just about anything else you could want on a Western getaway. And a short drive away is the Museum of the Mountain Man, several lakes, national forest, picnic spots, etc. We fly fished with a local guide, Mike Davis (aka Mavis) and had a great time catching browns and rainbow.

“It was a pleasure to have been greeted by Sofia. My wife and I are truckers and our last drop was in Pinedale. After 2.5 weeks on the road and 11 hours of drive time behind us that day we were just looking for an inexpensive place to stay for the night. We are not skiers or tourest and thought the cabins would be too expensive for our budget. What a surprise. Thank you Sofia. The cabin was warm and cozy. I CAN ONLY HOPE WE RUN OUT OF HOURS IN THE FUTURE IN PINEDALE.“

“I work in pinedale frequently, and over the last several months I have been a regular fixture at the log cabin motel. Sofia and Forest do an amazing job of making you feel welcome without the smothering feeling you get at other places. They are very people oriented with an atmosphere that welcomes you whole heartedly. I would recommend them to anyone, and have.“

“My daughter and I needed a place to just settle in for the night after a late lunch in Jackson Hole.
I was intrigued by the photos of the cabins and the history. It was warm and
clean and very cozy and Sophia was very welcoming. I was also curious about the town of Pinedale and why such a quaint town would have such an elaborate new Rec center. In the morning we enjoyed a big breakfast in town.“
