The Log Cabin Motel offers nine distinct cabin configurations in downtown Pinedale, ranging from a one-room kitchenette cabin for two to an off-site two-bedroom cabin with 1,000 square feet of space. Most cabins are hand-hewn from local pine, and four units do not have log interiors. All are furnished with kitchen equipment suited for self-catered stays.

Every cabin is individually decorated and equipped with at least a partial kitchen, including a coffeemaker, microwave, toaster, cookware, dishware, and cutlery, plus a dining table with chairs. Fresh coffee, organic tea, hot cocoa, and oatmeal are provided, and all cabins include a covered front porch with seating and access to charcoal BBQ grills. Sustainably sourced linens, pillows, blankets, and a down comforter are standard across the property. New carpets are being installed for the 2026 season.
Cabin configurations span a wide range of group sizes and layouts. Three one-room cabins with partial kitchens sleep up to two guests, with one featuring a loft with a twin bed.
Three two-room cabins with full kitchens (four-burner stove with oven, full-sized refrigerator) sleep up to three guests each, and two additional two-room cabins accommodate up to four guests. Two side-by-side two-room cabins each sleep five and share identical layouts, making them a natural pairing for larger groups.
The on-site two-bedroom cabin, at 800 square feet and dating to 1906, pre-dates Pinedale's incorporation and sleeps up to six, with a separate living room, dining room, and kitchen.
The off-site two-bedroom cabin is the largest option at 1,000 square feet, sleeping up to six guests. Bedroom 1 has two queen beds, bedroom 2 has one full bed, and the living room has a queen sleeper sofa. It sits in downtown Pinedale across from American Legion Park and Pine Creek. The property's downtown location means guests in any cabin can step out and reach restaurants, shops, and services on foot without needing a car for everyday errands.

The third two-room cabin has a modernized interior without log walls. It’s set back from the street under a giant willow tree that gently rustles its leaves in the mountain breezes, setting the tone for a relaxing day. The cabin’s large front porch with picnic table makes it an ideal cabin for the whole family to enjoy a comfortable stay.

At 800 square feet, it’s ideal for couples, fly-fishing friends, small families and those who appreciate the extra space of a separate living room to gather, relax and share stories after a day of adventures! The living room has a twin trundle plus the couch. Here, you can sleep up to six guests. In this cabin, the kitchen and dining is its own room from which guests can access the bathroom. Both bedrooms are in each corner of the cabin and afford great privacy. This cabin has 3 TV's.
